I always say to anybody who wants to start off doing typing work from home is to first try something that will not cost you anything. One way to get your feet wet first is to try doing paid surveys, they are easy to do, cost you nothing and do not require much in the way of commitment.
Unfortunately not everyone looking for jobs that they can do from home spend enough time researching and fall foul of the scams. There are work from home typing scams that you may come across on the internet, many are just an extension of the old envelope stuffing scams. Just in case you were thinking of doing envelope stuffing from home do not send off your money, anything to do with envelope stuffing is a scam.
So how do you know if something is a scam or is genuine? When you have been around the internet block a few times they are pretty easy to spot. However if you are a little greener then it is easy to be taken in, many scams are quite convincing however.

The first rule of thumb is if it sounds too good to be true it is. No-one is going to give you a typing job that earns you a hundreds a week if you have no experience. So if you read an ad that says earn hundreds a week no experience necessary I guarantee you that you will end up paying out the little cash you do have on an instruction book that you cannot follow.
This brings me to the second rule, keep your money in your pocket. You are not going to get typing work by paying someone else no matter how convincing they sound. If you are just starting off your online earning adventure then keep your pennies safe until you know what you are doing.
There are many things that you can do to start earning right now that will not cost you a penny, paid surveys are one way. Once you have earned some money from this use it to invest in your training and your online career. Make an effort to research things properly and learn something new everyday.
